Red²Alert
The Notices tab provides a mechanism for informing users about major IT incidents and planned system maintenance activity. The information input can be made available to all users via a separate Intranet page outside the Red²Alert application, providing a time-gated ‘whiteboard’ view of all notices.

Notices are categorised as ‘planned’ or ‘unplanned’. For a planned outage, users can be given prior notice of the event to ensure inconvenience is minimised, whilst unplanned outage information can be communicated in one single update preventing multiple calls to the IT support teams.
