The ability to view performance trends over time in graphical format
is a powerful facility when predicting potential future IT issues.
CPU performance, memory utilisation and disk utilisation are among
the standard predefined outputs, enabling trends to be monitored and
the appropriate action taken. A number of other trends, including user
and data-base activity, can be made available.
The Performance Analyser is entirely 'point and click' driven, acting
as a diagnostic aid for perceived user/performance issues and enabling
IT professionals and management alike to view organisation-wide
performance statistics.

A view of all statistics collected up to 36 hours previously provides an
overview of current status and individual performance statistics can be viewed
on a historical basis to track trends or highlight deviance from the norm.
A summary page for each specific performance statistic captured is available,
charting maximum, average and current utilisation figures. Daily, weekly,
monthly and annual presentations allow the user to cross reference the
data with multiple metrics (such as memory and cpu) providing an overall
profile of each statistic at a glance and assessing any potential business
impact for capacity planning purposes.
